Heart Journal
Hello....
Just a quick entry to show you my latest pages...
These are my pages for week three and four.
For Week Three...the theme was Gratitude/Giving Thanks
These are my pages for Week Four...the theme was The Girl in Me, the challenge was to
hand draw a figure. Something that was totally hard for me, so it was, a challenge.TeeHee
I also challenge myself to include my faith in these art journal pages, so far so good.
Next week (#5) the theme is Pieces of me....layer and paper piecing..till then...

Heart Journal
Week Two = Beach
The challenge this week was to incorporate the beach, adding some dimension to your project.
I hope you like what I've created. I've always felt so blessed to live by the beach, I am definitely a hot weather kind of gal....TeeHee When I was a child my family would go to the beach alot, especially during the summer months when we were out from school, we would sometimes stay overnight at the beach, it was awesome !! Now that I'm older my favorite thing to do, is find a spot and just lay there, the breeze in my face, the salty smell on my lips and the wonderful sound of the waves, ahhhhhh, wish I was there now. Don't ya?? TeeHee, well for now enjoy my rendition of my favorite beach moments, as a child and as an adult.
I pray you have a tremendous rest of the week.

What I did today !!
Hello Ladies,
Just a quick update....
Today I left my baby (18yrs old) at the airport for her first church youth conference, sigh!
I know, I know, she's of age, she'll be OK, there is a large group going, my pastors will be there
too and other chaperons, but, still, I must admit that it is nerve wracking. I miss her already, my
home feels so quiet without her... :o(
I pray for protection and a safe return for the whole group...they will be flying back on Saturday
counting the days already. Big Sigh !
Anyways, to let you know that I was able to upload my pictures for the He-Art Journal challenge @ The Greeting Farm Blog. I had received an email that they had to manually add me to the group, somehow
I was being shown as not active...?? IDK. Anyways I've loaded it and am working on this weeks. I also
a tag swap in the works but I will have to turn them in late, because I'm not good at coloring hair w/Copics, and my daughter was the one that was helping me with it...I'll have to wait till Saturday for her return... Soooo Sorry Linda, but I have everything done except for the hair. I am also getting back on track with
my ABC Scripture Challenge.....OMG, I think I have too many things on my plate....must prioritize somehow. Help me Lord..!

Swaps
Hello Ladies,
I don't know about you, but I've been having problems with blogger, every time I want to leave a comment on a blog I have to do it under Anonymous...that stinks, LOL. Anyways, been busy this weekend, working on a lot of videos for my YouTube channel. Just tried to finish my swaps for June and starting on the last ones for July, I don't want to be late.
So here is the video for the Smash/Junque Journal Swap... this was hosted by Gina (scrapinology) at My Scrap Room.ning... Had a ton of fun making it... I had already made a couple mini ones, so this it my first full size journal...I pray my partner likes it. Well, ya'll have a great week and hope to hear from you soon.

Swaps
Hello Ladies,
Well, I pray you all had an awesome and safe 4th of July weekend. As for me and my family, we had a typical quiet weekend. Today actually was the busies, with groceries and Michael's (20% everything) and I also went to the post office to mail out my latest swaps. The first swap was for A Lil Scrap of Heaven, I participated in Kimberly's Image Tag Swap, my first swap of this kind, had soooo much fun with it. You just stamp ten tags with your first image and ten more with your second image, put them in a plastic baggie, and your done...so easy and fun. My second swap from A Lil Scrap of Heaven was Cynthia's Flower Swap, this was also my first time doing a flower swap, I was nervous because, even though this flower is made with your personal taste, you want to make sure you also consider other peoples. Well, anyways, these flowers took me a few days to complete, but I love them. My third and final swap mailed out was for My Scrap Room, hosted by Gina/Scrapinology, this was a one on one Junque Journal Swap. I received my partners journal within 10 day of the partner's name posted, so I was in a time crunch, even though I still had plenty of time to mail out, I wanted to do it as soon as possible, I pray my partner will like it, based on the one she sent me, this was more of a writing journal, but I did embellish each page by using my homemade glimmer spray. I did my best with what I had, I didn't purchase anything for it, as I understood it a Junque Journal allows you to use those old scraps of papers you have, maybe some mismatched trims and stickers, old chipboard pieces that you don't necessary would use otherwise in other projects....everything and anything goes, I love that concept, I definitely will be making another full size one for myself.
Wow I think this is the longest post ever !!! I hope I didn't loose anyone, Tee Hee.
