Hellooooooo !

Hi ladies, I know it's been a looking time, since my last post. Just been enjoying God's mercy and his patience with me. Living up to holy life has never been harder, but with his grace we can conquer all. Let me share with you my first "craft" love....crocheting, yup that's right....I'm a hooker.....TeeHee. I learned how to crochet when I visited my grandma in Mexico as a child, I was probably around 10 yrs old. Since day one, I was hooked....TeeHee. I've loved this craft so much and I am so pleased to announce that my girls are loving it too, especially my oldest daughter...she even reads patterns, which I had always struggled with, till recently, thanks to her. Here are a few pictures of my creations, I will be sharing some more in the near future. Thanks for letting me share my passions with you. Love ya !

What I've been up to

   Hi ladies, just a quick update....I haven't been scapbooking much, just focusing on family and church.  I've had a very tight schedule as of now because we've been practicing for our Easter play.  So, till then I hope to at least burden you with a few lines once a week or so to update you on what's been going on with "Holy" TeeHee.   For now if you haven't notice yet, there is a new button on my blog, I've been browsing the Pinterest Site, and to tell you the truth, it's a bit overwhelming...still trying to figure it out, but having fun doing so.  If your interested in it, click on the "Follow me" button, to get an invite, I think that's how it works, TeeHee.

     Well,

         H E L L O Ladies,

Long time no blog, TeeHee,  just a little update on what's been going on....I took a break from blogging/youtube/challenges/and crafting in general....It was getting a little overwhelming and frankly

was taking too much time from family, but especially my spiritual time.  I will not jeopardize my "spirit well-being" for crafting, no matter how much I do enjoy crafting.  But just to show you what I had previously

completed, I will be loading some pictures.  I hope you enjoy them and I'll be posting soon my  ABC Scripture Challenge Cards.

What I did today !!

Hello Ladies,
  Just a quick update....
Today I left my baby (18yrs old) at the airport for her first church youth conference, sigh!
I know, I know, she's of age, she'll be OK, there is a large group going, my pastors will be there
too and other chaperons, but, still, I must admit that it is nerve wracking.  I miss her already, my
home feels so quiet without her... :o(
I pray for protection and a safe return for the whole group...they will be flying back on Saturday
counting the days already.  Big Sigh !
  Anyways, to let you know that I was able to upload my pictures for the He-Art Journal challenge @ The Greeting Farm Blog.  I had received an email that they had to manually add me to the group, somehow
I was being shown as not active...?? IDK.  Anyways I've loaded it and am working on this weeks.  I also
a tag swap in the works but I will have to turn them in late, because I'm not good at coloring hair w/Copics, and my daughter was the one that was helping me with it...I'll have to wait till Saturday for her return...  Soooo Sorry Linda, but I have everything done except for the hair.  I am also getting back on track with
my ABC Scripture Challenge.....OMG, I think I have too many things on my plate....must prioritize somehow.  Help me Lord..!

What I did today !!

   Hi ladies,
Just finishing my video on my latest haulsie...its a small one by very exciting...I was able to purchase this week some Copic markers....I was leaning towards just buying some  of the skin tone one and was going to paper piece the rest, but at 50% off, I couldn't resist...I purchased a few more to do black hair, unfortunately Michael's doesn't carry all of the colors, so I will have to make a trip to Hobby Lobby in the next town to purchase a few more to complete the combo for the black hair.  Still, I did get the ones I needed for the skin.

I pray you all are doing wonderful, I've been very busy with my bosses, retirement party craft that I committed myself to doing, and this week we are having Vacation Bible School, so I'll be getting up early to take my daughter, she's the Art teacher, to church and then heading to work, all before 8:30..... to me that is super, super early, definitely not and early bird.

What I did today !!

Hello Ladies, just a quick note to let you know of my awesome week so far....not only did we have a wonderful service at church on Sunday, I got to do a mini shop at my local Michael's.  I found out that they now carry Copic markers.....whoo hoo.... I don't want to get sucked-in, but I really couldn't help buying some, especially since there is a 50% off coupon this week !!  Yes 50% off!!  So I purchased two of them the E000 and E00... the reason I bought these is because I saw a YouTube video of a girl doing a tutorial on how to paper piece digi images and she explained that she only uses these two Copics for the flesh tone.. so I'll be playing around with these, super excited.  I will be going back to Michael's to purchase a few more, with the coupon of course, TeeHee.... I'm interested in getting some brown ones for hair...no alot of blond Mexicans...TeeHee, so I definitely need to keep the hair dark... What colors do you ladies suggest...I'm a total novice on this, and the least colors I get the better.... Lemme know what you suggest, all comments are welcomed.  Praying you are having a awesome week !!  Blessings to all.

What I did today !!

Hello Ladies......
   I know, my poor neglected blog.....Sigh
I will not explain myself, it's just one of those things...this blog, unfortunately is the bottom of my priority, so I apologize if you missed me, but on with the show...  I've actually been busy with non scrappy stuff, like, my youngest daughter's upcoming H.S. graduation...Yipee!   So excited for her and for what the Lord has in store for her.  Be praying if you can for both my daughters for they are both searching for summer jobs, and God willing, continuous.  My oldest is enrolled also for Summer Sessions at the university, so she'll be busy if she does find summer employment.  I am also actively helping some coworker with the retiring party for my boss, I will greatly miss him, I sorta volunteered to make bow ties for everyone attending...Long story short, our boss when he first started his practice, would wear bow ties instead of conventional neckties...so funny right?  Well in honor of this, we will all be wearing bow ties to the event, he'll be so pleased, I'm sure, his wife thinks its an awesome idea, so we're sticking to it.  Till then my scrapping has been put on hold. ;0(
Soon, though I'll be posting my ABC Scripture challenge pages, I have them started as a sketch, (baby steps) TeeHee.   In the meantime I saw a video from scrapbooker extraordinaire ScrapChica on a subbie giveaway....well of course I was busy and my computer at the last minute decided to jam up (typical) so I didn't make it to the deadline, but, I so wish to post it.  So Linda, here it is...I hope you get a kick out of it and if the other unwilling participants on the video agree, I will post it, w/music on YouTube, it will be up to them.  For now Here it is....Enjoy

What I did today !!

  Hello....
Well, today I finally started on my ATC cards for the swap I entered at A Lil scrap of Heaven...hosted by Stephanie (stephanoid69=YouTube).  This will be my first ATCs ever...my first ATC Swap and my first swap @ A Lil Scrap of Heaven.... wooohoooo, a lot of firsts.  But, very excited to complete them and mail them off, so that then I can concentrate on Alee's Hello Kitty Tag Swap...I know, I know, another swap... yes I love Hello Kitty and I couldn't pass up the chance to join...These are small projects, not like a mini or something so I'm sure I can handle it...(fingers crossed) TeeHee. 
Off to complete as much as I can tonight..  wish me luck..!

What I did today !!

    Well, good news and bad news..... as I mentioned earlier..I drove to the next town to visit Hobby Lobby, and OMG !! so excited with all the different goodies they have there.  I was glad to find different items from the ones here at Michael's.  But, unfortunately for me, with all the excitement of going there I didn't think of printing a store coupon, and lo and behold I found the one item I had been searching for here in town........  THE CINCH !!!!!!   Auggghhhhh, I'm so dumb....I tried to get it too, I asked if I could use my Michael's coupon, but they wouldn't honor competitor's coupons only advertised prices....... My Michael's does not carry The Cinch.....so upsetting, so what to do now??   Well, my husband is giving me permission to go back tomorrow !! yeah!!   I have my "Hobby Lobby" coupon printed and ready to go....can't wait......!!!!

In the meantime, I've joined the scrapping site....A Lil Scrap of Heaven...so cool, I've already joined the ATC Swap for March, so excited.  My youngest daughter will also be joining the site, because she so badly wants to do the ATC swap.   Well gotta go, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep with all this excitement...TeeHee.    Two Swaps and The Cinch..... Thanks Heavens, and thanks to my awesome hubby.

What I did today !!

Wow.....Two Blog Hops this week.....I've been a very busy bee, TeeHee
The first one I did was Linda's--ScrapChica's Spring Blog Hop and today I participated in Zoe--CraftyX's Pink and Feminine Blog Hop.  All of the projects from both blog hops were AMAZING !!  So, beautiful, these ladies are so creative.  I had so much fun and I subscribed to many new blogs, for much needed inspiration and ideas.  I pray everyone is having an awesome week, so far.  I will be enjoying a few days off from work,  no school for the kids due to Spring Break. 
Well, gotta go, need to help hubby with his sermon for tomorrow's service.

What I did today !!

  Today was an OK day at work.  So I had a chance to leave a little early (5:45) LOL !  Anyways, I had been feeling cold all week, I would just get chills, all of a sudden, I've heard of "hot flashes", but cold ones?  So, I skipped church today, sorry, but I needed just a few hours to myself, I sent my husband and the girls on their way, and I just laid on the bed for 20 minutes, when I realized I was starting to doze off, I jumped out of be and started a load of my work clothes.  Since I was under the ceiling fan, I felt a chill, so I decided to start on my "Caldo de Res" (beef soup) for those that don't know, it's a traditional Mexican dish.  Basically it's chunks of beef, I don't remember the name of the cut of meat, but it has a bone in the middle. you simmer this for at least 3 hours on med heat till the meat is tender and falling off the bone, you then add your favorite veggies to the stock....I like fresh corn, potatoes, squash, carrots, and cabbage.  Simmer till the veggies are cooked thru.  All I need with a big, hot bowl of this is some lime wedges and homemade tortilla chips....yummm  Can't wait to eat this tomorrow, today I just had a chance to start on the beef, I want it good and tender.  I pray you all had a wonderful day, and take time for yourself.

  Well I've been so swamped at work that I had NO time to do any scrapping whatsoever !!
I've been meaning to mail out the Pin/Charm Swap for Feb to Allyson for the last 2 days.  So
today is my last day to send them out... I pray I'm not too late, all I need to do is take pictures,
add my info card and take them to the post office.  But, of course I need to first make sure my
family if fed, because somehow they are unable to fend for themselves. !
Can you believe that ?!?!?  OK, so I'm off to do that, Allyson, be patient, please.  I'll post
pics soon..... they came out so pretty.
